I’d like to draw your attention to this project.

It has been directed by me for the OLA OLA brand to launch the new spring-summer collection 2022.

The drawings were animated by a neural network then put into a full-length video.

ABOUT PROJECT

CONCEPT

In the concept of this fashion show it was important for me to present and highlight the main principles of the collection.

The SS'22 collection has rationalized the use of fabric - we used the remainings of the previous collections of the OLA OLA brand. So, I decided to rationalize the fashion show itself by abandoning the real-life show which would have resulted in a great deal of expenses. I suggested creating the show in the format of animation.

Also, the design of some things has moved from the old collections to the new one but in an reimagined version: with a new print, in a new texture of the fabric. Some things have been revised completely. I decided to display the idea of reimagining by animating it without using traditional methods, but with the help of a neural network.

1. DRAWINGS

The references from the lookbook of the new spring-summer 2022 collection were used as guidelines. Friends, the team of the brand as well as employees of the sewing department - designers and seamstresses performed as artists in the present project. Then all the drawings have been scanned and converted into a digital format.
